Cheryl’s Sunlit Journey
My journey as an artist began in the 1990s, painting decorative furniture and experimenting with popular faux-finishing techniques such as marbling. After owning a retail store specializing in decorative home accessories, my creativity naturally found its way to canvas.
My work is inspired by the beauty and joy found in everyday moments. With a style that is feminine, colorful, and touched with a tropical flair, I especially love painting florals, gardens, coastal landscapes, and relaxing beach scenes. My hope is that each piece brings a sense of warmth, happiness, and personality into the space it calls home.
I also create a special collection of miniature paintings, designed to be both artwork and a personal keepsake. Each mini canvas features a hand-painted scene and a chalk-painted back where you can add a birthday wish or a meaningful message, presented on its own miniature easel.
